On December 23, 2017, some international students of Khazar University together with Bayram Guliyev, the senior lecturer of History and Archaeology department, visited the Ateshgah temple, one of the old historical monuments of Azerbaijan dating back to XVII – XVIII century, located in the Surakhani district near Baku city. The Ateshgah temple, which was a place of worship of Zoroastrianism, made a distinctive impression on the students from different countries (Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Indonesia and Nigeria). Eternal fire was a symbolic evidence of multiculturalism in Azerbaijan for the students which dates back to ancient times. Students became acquainted with all the exhibits in almost all rooms and left the temple with wonderful impressions.
Generally, teaching of the history lessons in museums is one of the best and useful methods for not only foreign students but also local students as observing and touching historical monuments, parts of historical events, have an important role for the higher quality study of this subject.
