Topographist-artist met historian students

On October 23, 2017, topographer-artist Vafa Hasanova, a researcher of Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, participated in “Introduction to archeology” lesson of the Department of History on initiatives of the Department of History and Archeology of Khazar University. During the lessons students learnt necessary practical skills and knowledge needed for their future career. Students got information on topography of buildings, stratigraphy of archaeological excavations, and techniques for creating images of archaeological finds. Based on instruction of the expert students made images of clay pots.

The aim of the lesson was to educate students in applied archaeology and help them acquire necessary skills. The lesson was interesting for students in terms of being practical.
