On June 29, 2017, International Training on Natural Resource Governance was launched at Khazar University, organized by the Eurasia Knowledge Centre, Khazar University and the Natural Resource Governance Institute. The experts from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia take part in the training.
The first day of the international training, which will continue until July 7, began with the opening ceremony. Professor Ingilab Ahmadov, Director of Eurasia Knowledge Centre welcomed the participants and spoke about the theoretical and practical importance of the training.
On the same day, the participants were informed about the general overview of the course, the panel discussions on the "The end of gradual increase in price for natural raw materials: impact and adaptation" were conducted, question and answer sessions were held and presentations were made in groups.
In the following days, the topics on "Transparency in Exploration, Production and Licensing ", "Environmental and Social Costs", "Taxation Review", "Fiscal Modelling", "Sovereign Funds", "Revenue Sharing", "Public Expenditure", "Private Sector Development" , "Anti-crisis strategy" and some other issues will be learned from the theoretical and practical points of view.

On July 6, the training will end with a closing ceremony.
