On June 3rd, 2017 an excursion was organised  in Ismayilli by the department of Geography and the Environment for the students majoring in Geography Teacher Education, the School of Education,  on the subjects of  Urban Planning and Hydrology.

The flow forms the Girdimanchay were analysed on the subject of Hydrology and the students became familiar with the water system of Lahic. They also learned the urban planning of Ancient Lahic on the subject of Urban Planning.
