The teachers of the Department of History and Archeology, Khazar University try to broaden the students’ outlook by constantly organizing subject-related excursions to the museums and exhibitions within each academic year. By means of these excursions, students learn to apply their theoretical know-how into practice and assimilate more knowledge about the specific historical period by remembering easily the exhibits of their own interest. The Department has a closer cooperation with the History Museum of Azerbaijan as the History of Azerbijan is taught in each faculty and a larger part of communication falls onto the part of the given museum. The Department of History and Archeology shows gratitude to the management and the whole staff of the History Museum of Azerbaijan for their contribution in the organization of lessons and also thanks the other museums for their cooperation with Khazar University.
