On May 26 and June 16, 2017, the “Open Door” days were held at Khazar University.

On May 26, the XI grade pupils of the schools number 176 and 162 from Yasamal and  Garadagh settlements, respectively,  were gathered at the "Marble" hall at Khazar University.

The Information tables representing the specialties and centres (International Relations, Career, Pscychology, Library-Information, etc.) operating at the university were placed in the hall.

The event was opened by Dr. Elza Samadova, the dean of the School of Education and she gave the general information to the pupils about the university. The students talked to staff around the information tables and received detailed answers to their questions.

The pupils watched videos about Khazar University and they were handed out the university booklets.

They were highly impressed by the stand which illustrated the university alumni who hold high positions in state and private sectors in different countries.

They were also presented a concert program.

After the event was over at Marble Hall the students got familiar with the university. They received answers to their questions at the laboratories of Electronics, Civil Engineering, Biology, Computer and Library-Information Centre.

  On June 16, 2017, the “Open Day” was held, in the same context,  at Khazar University for the XI grade pupils of the “Kainat” Education Centre from Lokbatan and Sahil settlement branches in Garadagh district.
