The next meeting of the Mevlana Poetry assembly, established at the Mevlana Institute for Literary and Philosophical Studies (MAFAI) at Khazar University, took place on April 29, 2022, in the University's Marble Hall. The event was attended by students and faculty members of the university, as well as guests from other institutions of the country.

Director of the Institute, Associate Professor Nazakat Mammadli opened the event and gave the floor to the poets participating in the meeting. The poetess Shalala Ana began her speech with Mohammad Fuzuli's ghazal "Word" and then recited her poems. Poet Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, the teacher at the university, expressed his views on the poetry assembly and presented some of his poems to the guests.

The event was also attended by the talented young currently studying at the university. Some of them - Farida Abdullayeva, Azer Hajiyev, Hasan Huseynov recited their poems. Then Nazakat Mammadli gave information about the science of poetry in the example of a poem by Gazi Burhanaddin and presented some of her poems to the audience.
