On April 27, 2022, Khazar University hosted a hybrid seminar on “Female Entrepreneurship in Tourism Industry” organized by the Development Center and the Faculty of Economics and Management within the Erasmus + PICASP project. The guest speaker of the seminar was Aygun Gardiner, the founder and director of Diverse School Travel, as well as a specialist of Educational Travel company.

The event began with an introductory speech by the Head of the Development Office, Raziya Isayeva. The main topic of the seminar was cultural heritage and educational tourism. Aygun Gardiner gave a presentation and spoke about experience of educational tourism in England.

Then Aygun Gardiner spoke about her entrepreneurship experience and the challenges she faced along the way. The seminar ended with a question and answer session.

The seminar was attended by university staff and students of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
