A "Career Fair – 2026" was held on May 13, 2026, in the Marble Hall of Khazar University's Neftchiler campus, organized by the Career and Alumni Center.
The career fair brought students and alumni together with the country's leading employers on a single platform, creating opportunities for direct communication, professional networking, and new collaboration prospects.
At the opening of the fair, Zarifa Aliyeva, Director of Khazar University's Career and Alumni Center, stated that such events not only support the smoother integration of students and alumni into the labor market but also make a significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between the university and the business world.
In her address, Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva spoke about the importance of university–company collaboration, noting that such fairs are of great significance in terms of students' professional development, gaining practical experience, and expanding future career opportunities. She also emphasized that career fairs serve as a bridge between the university and the business world.
Nearly 50 local and international companies, organizations, and institutions participated in the fair, presenting their fields of activity, current vacancies, and internship programs. The participation of prominent companies such as SOCAR, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, Azersun, and the Veyseloglu Group of Companies further underscored the significance of the event.
The banking and finance sector was broadly represented by institutions such as Bank of Baku, AccessBank, Premium Bank, Yelo Bank, and AFB Bank. These institutions provided students with detailed information on real working environments, career development pathways, and the skills required in the financial sector.
In the tourism and hospitality sector, Four Seasons Hotel Baku, Holiday Inn Baku, Tufandag Mountain Resort, and other hotels participated, delivering presentations on global working environments and career opportunities.
In the fields of education and personal development, institutions such as "Dunya" School, ASAN Kadr, AIESEC, INNAB Business School, CELT Colleges, IDTECH Academy, Event Volunteers, and STIMUL Education Center informed young people about international programs, trainings, development opportunities, and volunteer programs.
Additionally, Azerbaijan Railways, Shirvan Agro, Arsenal Group, and Hasvet Veterinary Medicine also participated in the fair, discussing career prospects across various fields.
Throughout the fair, students and alumni had the opportunity to communicate directly with company representatives, submit their CVs, participate in interview simulations, and expand their professional networks. The event also played a significant role in strengthening university–industry collaboration, better preparing young people for entry into the labor market, and bringing their potential to the fore.
