Under the guidance of Kamala Mustafayeva, a lecturer at the History and Archaeology Department of Khazar University, first-year students of the School of Science and Engineering visited the Nariman Narimanov Memorial Museum and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology on May 2, 2026. Museum staff provided students with detailed information about Nariman Narimanov's political, literary, and medical activities. Abdul Kazimli, a third-year student of the History Teaching program at the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences at Khazar, who volunteers at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, introduced the students to examples of material culture, as well as archaeological and anthropological findings from Azerbaijan spanning the Paleolithic period through the Middle Ages, and spoke in detail about the country's historical and cultural heritage.
Students were subsequently provided with detailed information about the historic buildings situated along Istiqlal Street — including the former Baku City Duma, the Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev School for Girls, the Saint Nina Girls' Gymnasium, and the Ismailiyya Palace.
The museum visits generated considerable interest among the students.
