Within the framework of the Azerbaijani Literature course taught to students of the School of Science and Engineering by Gulshana Khudiyeva, instructor at the Department of Languages and Literatures at Khazar University and Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, a series of scientific-creative presentations were organized in November and December 2025. The main topics of the presentations were dedicated to the works of M.F. Akhundov, J. Mammadguluzade, H. Javid, J. Jabbarly, A. Javad, M.A. Rasulzade, M. Mushfig, S. Vurgun, and Anar.
During the presentations, students conducted independent scientific research, explored sources in libraries, and presented the knowledge they acquired in the form of academic presentations. During the classes, examples of artistic recitation were performed, creative scenes were prepared, surveys, interactive games, and knowledge competitions were held.
These presentations had a positive impact on revealing students' creative potential, discovering their talents, and increasing their interest and love for Azerbaijani literature.
To enrich the educational process, students attended performances at the Azerbaijan State Academic Drama Theatre based on Huseyn Javid's "Iblis" and at the Young Spectators Theatre based on Jafar Jabbarly's "Aydin."
It should be noted that such a scientific-creative approach serves to increase the effectiveness of teaching literature in higher education institutions and to shape students' humanitarian-aesthetic worldview.
