On July 1, 2025, the Department of Architecture and Design of Khazar University held an exhibition of course assignments and individual works completed by students of Architecture, Design, and Fine Arts Teaching specializations during the 2024-2025 academic year.
At the opening of the exhibition, the university's founder, Director and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli and Head of the Department of Architecture and Design Assoc. Prof. Shahla Abbasova delivered speeches.
The exhibition featured students' eco-design projects, eco-efficient collage compositions made from recyclable and household waste materials, advertising posters on the theme "Green World," ceramic products, architectural projects and models, logos and branding, paintings, fashion collages, and newly designed shoes.
One of the notable sections of the exhibition was the "Support Design" charity project implemented within the framework of the "Product Design" course. Special furniture designed by students for persons with physical disabilities was produced on the initiative of Fuad Najafov, head of "Greenwood" company, and presented as gifts to Davud Rahimli, Chairman of the Union of Disability Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to a physically disabled student of Khazar University. The Department of Architecture and Design presented a certificate of appreciation to Fuad Najafov, while certificates were awarded to students who actively participated in the exhibition.
The faculty and teaching staff of Baku University of Engineering, Director of the Department of Decorative-Applied Folk Arts of the ABAD organization Qamar Qafarova, and Chief Project Manager of the same department Maryam Humbatova were invited to the exhibition.
This event not only showcased the creative potential and professional development of students but also demonstrated their interest in socially responsible projects.
The exhibition attracted great interest from teachers, students, art enthusiasts, and representatives of collaborating organizations.
