Seminar Held with Participation of Professors from Michigan and Boğaziçi Universities

On April 30, 2025, a seminar was held at Khazar University featuring Dr. Hartman Douglas Keith, Professor of Teacher Preparation at the Education Department of Michigan State University, United States, and Prof. Dr. Dilek Altun, Dean of the Education Department from Boğaziçi University, Turkey.

During the seminar, detailed discussions with participants were conducted around two main topics. Prof. Hartman Douglas delivered a presentation on "Designing AI-enhanced professional development that empowers teaching and learning." Following this, Prof. Dr. Dilek Altun shared her presentation titled "Computational thinking: Play, patterns, and problem-solving: Developing computational thinking in preschool classrooms" with the students.

Seminar participants – including faculty members, researchers, and students – gained valuable knowledge and experience on current topics such as the role of artificial intelligence in modern education and the development of computational thinking in early childhood. The seminar concluded with an exchange of ideas.
