On May 1, 2025, Khazar University hosted an event titled “Meeting Between Business Representatives and Students” in the university’s Marble Hall. The gathering was organized by the Business-Industry Club (KUBIC), established on February 27, 2025, on the initiative of the university’s founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli.
The event was opened by Director of Public Relations and Media at Khazar University, Alovsat Amirbeyli, who welcomed the participants and provided detailed information about the purpose of the meeting. The moderator of the event was Dr. Jamala Eldarova, Head of the Department of Life Sciences.
Members of KUBIC’s Board of Directors—business representatives from various sectors—attended the event and shared their career journeys with students. Among them were Süleyman Majidli, CEO of ENERGAZER; Ruslan Humbatov, founder and director of HRC GROUP and Deputy Director of Bakuelectronics; Zaur Gadirov, Managing Partner of Financial Chain Corporation; and Arash Nosrati, CEO of Parla Pharmaceuticals. Each speaker delivered insightful remarks on the latest developments in the business world, current challenges, and key strategies for success.
Süleyman Majidli outlined the purpose behind the creation of KUBIC, its founding stages, logo, vision, and operational directions. He emphasized the club’s role in offering students significant opportunities for professional development, networking, and participation in diverse projects.
Ruslan Humbatov provided details on internship and recruitment opportunities offered through the club, stressing the importance of gaining real-world work experience.
Zaur Gadirov introduced upcoming seminars, workshops, scholarship programs, summer schools, and international exchange initiatives planned by the club. He underlined the significance of equipping students with global perspectives and competitive skills.
Arash Nosrati spoke about KUBIC’s startup accelerator program, explaining how it supports students in refining innovative ideas, realizing their entrepreneurial potential, and pitching their ventures on an international scale through mentorship, funding, and networking resources.
During the interactive session, students actively engaged with the speakers, posing questions on topics such as internships, international collaborations, mentorship, academic support, startup development, and career building. The presenters responded comprehensively and enthusiastically, showing great attentiveness to the students’ interests.
The event concluded with a note that this meeting marked the initial step in KUBIC’s journey. Plans for larger-scale projects, new partnerships, and international collaborations are underway. The Business-Industry Club is steadily evolving into a pivotal platform for fostering students’ knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial thinking within the university.
