In March 2025, Dilber Haydarova, a doctoral student from the Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, completed an academic internship at Khazar University. During her stay, she visited the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Folklore (MAFI) at the university, where she familiarized herself with the research activities, conducted folklore studies, and enhanced her knowledge and experience in this field.
Dilber Haydarova carried out her internship under the supervision of Associate Professor Aynur Qazanfargizi, the coordinator of the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Folklore. The primary focus during this period was on collecting and studying scientific publications related to her dissertation topic, "Female Figures in the Myths of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan." In addition, at the initiative of Associate Professor Aynur Qazanfargizi, Dilber Haydarova had meetings and scientific discussions with prominent folklorists at the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Notably, the presentation by Professor Fuzuli Bayat on the subject of female figures in Turkic world myths was particularly significant for her.
To gain firsthand experience of Azerbaijan's living folklore, Aynur Qazanfargizi and Dilber Haydarova visited the Quba region of Azerbaijan, where she observed the traditions of celebrating Ilakhir Charshanba and gathered valuable information.
Upon successfully completing the internship, Dilber Haydarova was awarded a certificate. It is worth noting that her second academic supervisor is Associate Professor Aynur Qazanfargizi, the coordinator of the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Folklore at Khazar University.
