Samantha Curle has been appointed as Adjunct Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature. She is also a researcher in Applied Linguistics at the University of Bath.

Samantha Curle holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oxford, where she also completed two master's degrees. Her research focuses on bilingual education and the psychology of language learning. She has published numerous articles and has received several awards, including the "University of Bath's Doctoral Recognition Award" (2023/24) and the "Recognising Excellence Award" (2021/22). She is a member of both the Higher Education Academy and the Royal Society of Arts.
