Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, Associate Professor Orxan Valiyev participated in an international event at ADA University on December 7, 2024, dedicated to the topic "The Role of Parliaments in Public Diplomacy: The Case of Azerbaijan and Türkiye".

The event began with speeches by Azerbaijan's Parliament Speaker's First Deputy Ali Ahmadov and Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Foreign Relations Committee Chair Fuat Oktay. The speakers touched upon Azerbaijan-Türkiye friendship and brotherhood relations, emphasizing the importance of deepening strategic partnership.

The event then continued with moderation by National Assembly Deputy, Deputy Chair of the Science and Education Committee, and ADA University vice rector Fariz Ismayilzade.

During the roundtable, the experiences of Azerbaijani and Turkish parliaments in public diplomacy were discussed in detail, and an exchange of ideas was held regarding initiatives that contribute to promoting cooperation.
