On November 29, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus+ PICASP project, to which Khazar University is a partner, an archaeological expedition was organized for lecturers and students (Tourism Management specialty) of Khazar University under the leadership of Fariz Khalilli, President of the MIRAS Public Association and Ph.D. in History, at the research site of the Zargarpalan bathhouse in Baku.

Subsequently, a training session was conducted covering how conservation work is carried out in the bathhouse, the materials used in conservation, their types and composition, preparation and usage guidelines, and essential rules to be followed during the conservation and restoration of archaeological monuments. In the third part of the expedition, participants took part in the monument's conservation under the supervision of specialists working at the research site, drawing upon the knowledge they had acquired.
