On November 4, 2024, the Department of Psychology at Khazar University, in collaboration with "VarYox" platform, organized a seminar on "Gender Inequality: Myths and Realities." The seminar was conducted by Afsana Tahirova, a speaker from the "VarYox" platform.

The main objective of the seminar was to highlight gender equality issues in Azerbaijan and worldwide, discuss common misconceptions and stereotypes in this field, and provide information about the causes and impacts of gender inequality.

Afsana Tahirova provided detailed information to the participants about the place of gender inequality in modern society and its social, economic, and psychological impacts. During the seminar, various myths and realities about gender equality were also discussed, and participants actively shared their opinions.

Malak Karimova, the coordinator of the Psychology Department, thanked the "VarYox" platform for organizing the seminar and expressed that the collaboration would continue in the future.
