By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 25, 2024, Yegzar Jafarli, a lecturer at the Department of Languages and Literature at Khazar University, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology in the specialty 5718.01 - World Literature (English Literature).

The PhD diploma was presented to Y. Jafarli on November 1.
