On May 10, 2024, a seminar on "Green Technology and Geopolitics of Climate Changes" by Nijat Mammadli, adviser to the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at Khazar University. Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy of Khazar University, Farida Tatardar, head of the Department of Physics and Electronics, faculty, doctoral students and students of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy took part in the seminar.

The workshop covered green technology, geopolitics of climate change, responses to these changes and other issues. Nijat Mammadli also analyzed the climate change by years and gave information about the measures to be taken until 2050. After the presentation, students' questions were answered. The seminar ended with the presentation of a gift to Nijat Mammadli by Orkhan Valiyev.
