To enhance international solidarity in the global fight against climate change, the President of Azerbaijan, in accordance with Article 109, Clause 32 of the Azerbaijani Constitution, issued an Order declaring 2024 as the "Solidarity for a Green World" year in Azerbaijan.

In pursuit of this goal, on April 23, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Khatira Yusifova, a faculty member of the Languages and Literatures Department, conducted an open lecture titled " Nature in Poetry: Classical Approach and Ecopoetics."
