Hamlet Isaxanli is someone whose innate intelligence shines through.

I have known him for almost 20 years. 

I was first a student, and then an employee of Khazar University.

Hamlet Isakhanli cherishes Khazar University like his own child, protects it dearly, and manages to keep it away from any kind of harm.

While other university rectors are accompanied by guards who create a barrier between them and the students as they walk down the corridor, Hamlet Isakhanli passes through the students and goes to his office.

Later, when I worked there, many times there was a sudden knock on the door of my office, teacher Hamlet would come and sit and talk about work, literature and life. His conversations have always been a lesson in mastery for me.

When I invited him to our modest home in Ahmedli, alongside the late Nailekhanim, I never imagined he would accept. Having them at our home was truly delightful, and we relished their conversation to such an extent that this day remains one of our fondest memories.

Hamlet Isakhanli, despite his achievements, never aspired to become an “official”. He always preserved his fragile heart and poetic spirit. It was the wedding of Mevlut Suleymanli's youngest son, Elay. Celebrities and government officials were sitting at the neighboring table. Hamlet Isakhanli, upon entering the hall, was shown a seat at the table. When he approached me, he saw me and smiled at the one who indicated the chair to him, and said, "I'll sit next to my colleague." And he came and sat next to me. For me, this was a great human quality. In my opinion, modesty is one of the greatest blessings in life. Because of these qualities, I hold Hamlet Isakhanli dear to my heart. He is a true man, fragile and soulful.
