On February 22, 2024, a meeting of simultaneous interpreter Pakiza Gasimova with translation students was arranged at Khazar University. The meeting took place at the initiative of Elvin Abbasbeyli, the coordinator of the " Center of Translation and Interpretation (CTI)" operating at Khazar University, and with the support of Milana Abbasova, the head of the English Language and Literature Department. Following a brief introduction by Elvin Abbasbeyli, Pakiza Gasimova provided students with comprehensive insights into the profession of interpretation, drawing from her own experiences and discussing ethical rules of an interpreter. The guest then addressed numerous questions from the students.
