Research.com, a leading academic platform for scholars, has recently launched the second edition of its "Best Universities in the World 2023" ranking.

This ranking primarily emphasizes the scientific achievements of prominent scientists associated with each higher education institution. The position of a university in this global ranking is determined by aggregating the H-index values of all its leading scientists.

Universities across 116 countries have been evaluated in this ranking, including higher education institutions from 11 post-Soviet countries.

Khazar University, renowned for its research outcomes, is the only higher education institution in Azerbaijan to be ranked.
