On November 1, 2023, Telman Nusratoghlu, the head of Khazar University's Department of History and Archaeology, was featured in a joint broadcast by TRT and AZTV. The discussion, which included Türkiye's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Assoc. Dr. Cahit Bağçi, and former military attaché Yücel Karauz, provided an insightful analysis of the relations between Turkiye and Azerbaijan.

In his address, the head of the Department emphasized that the strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye serves as a stabilizing and regulatory force concerning the interests and security of the Turkic world.
