On October 27, 2023, the History and Archaeology Department of Khazar University organized a scientific seminar on "Refining Examples of Settlements in Anatolia during the Neolithic Period." The speaker, Burcu Funda Ayberkin, an associate of the Faculty of Architecture at Haliç University (Istanbul, Turkiye), specializing in research on management plans in archaeological areas and UNESCO criteria, provided comprehensive information on the architectural features of Neolithic settlements in Anatolia.
During the seminar, department members including Dr. Yagub Mammadov, scientific researchers Orkhan Zamanov, and Ulviyya Safarova, along with second and third-year students from the School of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences specializing in History Education and History/Geography Education, actively participated. The session concluded with a discussion involving both experts and students focusing on the presented report.
