On October 12, 2023, Khazar University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Turkish Social Sciences University of Ankara.

The meeting was attended by the rector of Social Sciences University of Ankara, Prof. Dr. Musa Kazim Arican, Secretary of General Affairs Serdar Chalimli, founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, rector of the University, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, vice-rector for Academic Affairs Mahammad Nuriyev, director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbayli, master's thesis coordinator of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology Mahammad Eldarov, head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy Orkhan Valiyev, and head of International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva.

During the meeting, Secretary for General Affairs Serdar Chalimli and Head of the International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva made a presentation about universities. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations, and an agreement of mutual understanding was signed.

At the end of the meeting, gifts were exchanged.
