On June 1, 2023, "Times Higher Education" (THE), one of the world's most influential rating organizations, announced the " University Impact Rankings 2023", identifying the best world universities for 2023, against the UN's "Sustainable Development Goals", distinguished by their social and economic contributions.

1591 universities from 112 countries were included in the 5th edition of the rating.

Khazar University is the highest performing University in all spheres from Azerbaijan being ranked in the 601-800 tier.

Khazar University has once again confirmed its high quality of education and its excellent position by ranking in the 201-300 tier on the quality of education. Thus, Khazar University is ranked 93rd in 1 field, in the tier of 201-300 in 2 fields, 301-400 in 5 fields, 401-600 in other 5 fields, and 601-800 in two fields.
