On May 12, 2023, the founder of Khazar University, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli met with Shahmar Movsumov, assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Economic Affairs and Innovation.

During the meeting, economic issues in Azerbaijan, education and training in the Karabakh economic region, including vocational training were discussed. Also, the development prospects and infrastructure of Khazar University were discussed.
