On March 29, 2023, in the Marble Hall of Khazar University, the International Scientific Conference of young researchers entitled “Humanities in the context of new paradigms” (directions: language, literature, history, culture, history and philosophy of education) dedicated to the 75th anniversary of professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, chairman of its Board of Directors and trustees, doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, poet, writer, publicist, translator, specialist on the history of science, culture and education, author of numerous works on literature and linguistics, history and philosophy.

The conference opened with a wide session dedicated to the life and activities of Isakhanli. Khazar University administration and staff members, students, representatives of science and literature of the country took part in the event.

The head of the Department of Languages and Literatures, associate professor Dilbar Zeynalova, opened the meeting, greeted H. Isakhanli and the participants, and wished success to the work of the conference. The chamber orchestra of the university (artistic director, head of the Department of Music and Art, honored teacher, pianist Zulfiyya Sadıgova) greeted the participants with music.

Then the speeches began. Rector of the university, associate professor Irade Khalilova, gave information about H.Isakhanli's multifaceted activities.

Mammad Abbasbeyli, head of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy, professor Nadir Mammadli, director general of Nasimi Linguistics Institute of ANAS, poet, prose writer, translator, Imir Mammadli, who translated H. Isakhanli's poems into Georgian, delivered speeches.

Professor Kakha Shengelia, the president of the International Association of Rectors, rector of Qafqaz University in Georgia, professor Ramazan Korkmaz, founding rector of Ardahan University, member of the Board of Trustees of Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Manas University, chairman of the Caucasian Universities Union, Imdat Avshar, poet, writer-translator, member of Eurasian Writers Union, World Young Turkish Writers Union and Azerbaijan Writers Union, professor Bahman Amani, senior adviser of the Science and Technology Research Center of Iran, professor Bahadur Turayev, vice-rector of Uzbekistan Silk Road University conveyed their congratulations to H. Isakhanli in online format.

Various aspects of H.Isakhanli's multidisciplinary activity were touched upon in the speeches, the features of his creativity were noted and he was highly valued as a person.

At the end, H.Isakhanli, who was invited to give a speech with the applause of the participants, spoke about many interesting and important moments of his life, especially his educational years, and expressed his gratitude for the organization of the conference.

The conference continued its work in 5 sections. Speeches of more than 50 young specialists from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, China, the Netherlands and England were heard. The conference ended with the final meeting.
