On February 15, 2023, under the organization of the Department of Geography and Environment, Khazar University and the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution held an international seminar on "Electronic waste and global trends". Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Energy, Food Safety Agency, universities and civil society institutes participated in the seminar. At the event, the speeches of international experts, including the expert of the UN Training and Education Organization, Cornelis Peter Balde, were heard.
