On December 19-23, Dr. Fakhrenda Efendiyeva, dean of the School of Science and Engineering, Khazar University, visited Gazi University in Ankara, Türkiye as part of the Erasmus+ Workforce Mobility (KA107) project.
The first day of the trip was a meeting with the teaching staff of the Mathematics and Biology teaching specialties of the Faculty of Education. The meeting discussed curricula and joint collaborations, as well as biology laboratories were visited.
On the second day of the visit, there was a meeting with the dean of the Faculty of Technology, Prof. Dr. Suleyman Tekeli, and the head and teaching staff of the Faculty's Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering departments.
On the last day, there was a meeting with Assoc. Dr. Murat Yilmaz, the head of the Informatics Institute of Gazi University, and discussions were held regarding the realization of student exchange programs and joint thesis work through the ERASMUS program at the master's and doctoral level of computer engineering, and it was agreed to prepare a document in this direction and sign it soon.
During the visit, there were also meetings with Prof. Dr. Tuna Balkan, dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Middle East Technical University of Türkiye and Prof. Dr. Halil Vural, dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Hacettepe University, and opportunities for mutual cooperation were discussed.
