On December 22, 2022, an integrative lesson was organized for students studying "Old Azerbaijani script" by the lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University, doctor of philosophy in philology, associate professor Zivar Huseynli Baylan. The invited expert - director of the Turkish Research Center of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), doctor of philosophy in philology, associate professor Elchin Ibrahimov spoke on the topic "The issue of the alphabet in the Turkish world - from the past to the present".
Elchin Ibrahimov, who has conducted extensive research on "Common alphabet, spelling and communication language of the Turkic peoples" and "Azerbaijan People's Republic: language issues", gave valuable information to the students and answered their questions.
At the end of the event, Elchin Ibrahimov presented his book "Common alphabet, spelling and communication language of the Turkish peoples" to the university library.
