On November 15-16, 2022, an international conference called "Turkey-Azerbaijan relations in the context of public diplomacy" was held in Istanbul under the aegis of the Presidential Office of the Republic of Türkiye.

In the conference, with the participation of scientists, state and public figures from both countries, the place, opportunities and risks of the deepening of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in bilateral and regional relations were extensively analyzed. Telman Nusratoghlu, head of the History and Archeology Department, delivered a speech at the conference.
