On December 1, 2022, a seminar was organized for graduate students of the Department of Psychology (General and Clinical psychology specialty). Azerbaijani psychotherapist Elmir Tahmezov, who has been working in the field of psychiatry for a long time in Turkey, was invited to the "Family psychology" subject taught by the coordinator of the department, Melek Karimova. He gave a speech on "Sexual dysfunction seen in the family". The psychiatrist gave detailed information to the students about sexual problems in the family, sexual abuse, and methods of intervention during sexual dysfunction, and talked about the latest research in this field.

Many questions of the students related to the topic were answered, and the criteria for specialization were touched upon, emphasizing the importance of ethical principles related to this field.
