"Shamakhi" FC takes its starting point from the year of foundation of "Khazar University" FC

"Shamakhi" club has changed the date of establishment in its new logo. Elchin Usub, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Shamakhi" FC, informed about this at the presentation event held on August 4, 2022.

He announced that they took the founding year of the "Khazar University" team, which was established in 1997, in the club's logo: "The issue of succession was discussed for a long time. I wouldn't want to dwell on it too much. Yes, 1997 is related to the establishment of "Khazar University". We take our roots from the establishment of "Khazar University".

The founder and president of the former "Khazar University" team, Hamlet Isakhanli, who was invited to the event, blessed the regional team.
