On July 8, 2022, Khazar University’s 51st Graduation Ceremony was held at the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy. 

The event was attended by University administration and staff members, alumni parents, and guests.

The ceremony started with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra greeted the graduates with music.

Rector of the university, associate professor Irada Khalilova congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their new life paths.

It was noted that a total of 4,641 bachelors and 964 masters graduated from the university including current year’s 355 bachelors and 87 masters. 1285 of them graduated from the university with honors.

The graduates were invited to the stage and the diplomas were presented. Rector Irada Khalilova, vice-rectors Mahammad Nuriyev, Isakhan Isakhanli, Vlad Vernygora, faculty deans and department heads, faculty members presented the diplomas.

A certificate of success was presented to the graduates of Khazar University in the 2021-2022 academic year Nayanathara Ranmalie Amunarawa, Mukhtar Mammadov, Maleyka Ahmadova, Yulia Baghirova (Lovina), Royal Mahmudov.

Shujaat Shahidli, a graduate of the School of Economics and Management, spoke on behalf of the graduates and expressed his gratitude to the administration and teaching staff of the university for the conditions and high education provided for them during their studies.

Former graduates of the university - Anar Isganderli, who also participated in the event as a graduate parent, Ceyran Efendi, the founder of "AJ Group" in the United Arab Emirates, and Eldar Hamidov, the deputy chairman of the board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, spoke about the importance of training and education at Khazar University in their success.

The founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli was invited to the stage to congratulate all the graduates and reward those who completed the doctoral degree of the university and successfully defended their dissertations to receive the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant scientific councils of the country's scientific and educational institutions. After the award ceremony, Aghshin Garashli, a graduate of the School of Science and Engineering, and Khanim Rzayeva, a graduate of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, recited the graduation oath of Khazar University, and all the graduates took the oath and chanted "We swear!".

The event ended with the speech of professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli. H.Isakhanli spoke about the favourable educational environment at the university emphasising that it does not only prepare high-quality professionals but also raise a thoroughly developed younger generation. Professor also highlighted tense and efficient work of the teaching staff and gave recommendations to the graduates and wished them success.

Note that the dance ensemble of Khazar University students accompanied the event with their performances.
