The “Care Package to Soldiers” humanitarian aid campaign, which began on 2nd of October, by Turkish Alumni, continues at Khazar University.

Information on the work delivered after the last report provided:

Support from Khazar University staff - 485 manat;

Sumgayit “Dunya” School - 945 manat.

These amounts were used in conjunction with the assistance provided by Turkish Alumni:

1. To the Supply Department in Agjabadi region - 500 hats, 504 gloves, 100 warm sweaters (polo-neck), 20 powerbanks;
2. To the Supply Department in Yevlakh region - 20 powerbanks;
3. Financial support in the amount of 200 manats and visit paid to the families of 6 martyrs in Baku;
4. Financial support in the amount of 500 manats to the family of University’s Martyr Graduate (on behalf of Turkish Alumni);
5. Financial support to 2 martyrs' families in the amount of 200 manats and 500 manats aid for one soldier's family in Agdash region;
6. Financial aid in the amount of 600 manats to 3 families of soldiers in Kish village of Sheki;
7. Financial support in the amount of 200 manats to martyr's family in Bilasuvar;
8. Clothing for 20 wounded in Baku (worth of 311 manats);
9. Financial support in the amount of 200 manats and visit paid to the family of a wounded soldier in Baku.

We note that this campaign, which began at Khazar University, was supported by Azerbaijani Turkish alumni businessmen, doctors, government officials, scientists, and also alumni residing in different parts of the world (Turkey, Russia, Germany, and the United States), and the amount of the support and its scope was expanded. Currently, the work on establishing a fund and permanent pensions is in progress.
