On September 16, 2020, Food Safety Agency (FSA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan held an online meeting via ZOOM platform regarding the conformity to the sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic rules of the higher education institutions, performance of the canteens and cafeterias of these institutions in accordance with the norms approved by the relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as to the methodological guidelines developed by FSA, during the coronavirus pandemic. The meeting was joined by representatives of all higher education institutions operating in the country. Number of important issues were discussed at this meeting. Akbar Aliyev, FSA Representative, gave detailed information about a number of activities to be carried out during the pandemic and stressed the importance of disseminating posters prepared by the agency in higher education institutions.

Alovsat Amirbayli, Khazar University's Director for Public Relations and Media, also attended the meeting.
