On December 27, 2019, an International Scientific Conference on “Alplar-Caucasus Cross-sectional Research - the Ancient History of the Caucasus” was held at the University of Lumiere Lyon-2 in France. Archeologists and historians from France, the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in the international event. Azerbaijan was represented by archeologist Abuzar Alekperov, the Head of the Department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and Nurida Ateshi, Khazar University staff member. Nurida Ateshi delivered report on some aspects of Khojaly-Gadabay culture of the Last Bronze - Early Iron Age at the Conference.
