On December 3, 2019, with the support of Beeco initiative, Khazar University School of Economics and Management, International Office, a presentation on ‘Ecotourism: A tool for sustainable development?’ was organized at Khazar University Neftchiler Campus.

The topic was presented by Ms. Shahana Bilalova, Central European University graduate and current junior-specialist UNDP Kura-Project in Azerbaijan. During the presentation, the importance of Ecotourism for sustainable economic growth was highlighted.

During the presentation, the following topics such as what is Ecotourism, its sustainability, possible advantages and challenges, viable management solutions, have been covered.
