On December 2, 2019, Professor Vusala Musali (University of Kastamonu, Turkey) held a seminar on “Modern World Standards and Requirements in Scientific Activity” at Khazar University. Opening the seminar, Jabir Mammadli, Khazar University’s staff member, introduced Professor V.Musali to the audience and then gave the floor to the guest. Vusala Musali delivered talk covering such topics in her speech as a successful supervisor and theme selection, new research methods, where and how to begin research, interest in topics that serve national interests, how to reach world audience through scientific works, where and how to publish scientific articles, Clarivate Analytics Index (SSCI) expected science risks in political science field, importance of symposiums, conferences, panels and seminars, preparation of academic CVs, etc. Following that, participants of the seminar made questions to reporter.

Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director of Public Relations and Media of Khazar University, faculty and doctoral students of the University, and moreover the group of employees from Baku State University and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, also attended the seminar.

At the end, Vusala Musali expressed her appreciation to Khazar University and the participants of the seminar.
