Training on “Developing learning materials based on learning outcomes” is held

On June 29-30, 2018, a training (seminar and workshop) entitled “Developing learning materials based on learning outcomes” was held at “Marble” hall of Khazar University, “Neftchiler” campus. The aim of the training was to contribute to the development of teaching and learning process at pedagogical universities and secondary schools in Azerbaijan as well as the integration into world education system. The training was conducted by Prof.Dr. Buket Akkoyunlu, Dean of Çankaya University, and Assoc.Prof. Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education of Khazar University.

The main objective of the training was to raise professional expertise of university instructors and school teachers to develop modern learning materials. About 30 participants from Institute of Education as well as various universities and schools joined the training.

Referring to exemplary models, the trainers mainly focused on project-based learning/teaching, which is of importance in the application of curriculum based on standards. Moreover, the trainees prepared models of interactive projects based on content standards.

At the end, the trainees were certified.
