On December 13, 2017, there was a ceremony in SOCAR TOWER for presentation of scholarship cards to 70 students, who were granted a scholarship for 2016/2017 academic years by SOCAR, within Internal Scholarship Program, one of the social responsibility projects of the company. Asif Hasani (Chemistry Engineering), Murad Tapdigli (Civil Engineering) and Agshin Babayev (Petroleum Engineering), students of School of Applied Sciences of Khazar University, were also granted a scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is 1000 AZN per student for a year.

Representatives of the SOCAR administration, representatives of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and heads of the higher education institutions participated in the ceremony.
