Tarana Isayeva, PhD in History, a lecturer of the Department of History and Archeology, participated in a ceremony on December 12, 2017, which was organized by the Embassy of Hungary to Azerbaijan, dedicated to Istvan Szechenyi, a founder of modern Hungary and a founder of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, an economist, a writer, a political theorist. Zoltan Fonagy, a professor of Hungarian Academy of Sciences, delivered a speech in the ceremony. Later, Viktor Szederkenyi, Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, talked about the development of mutual relations between the two countries. Vilayat Guliyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary, got the floor and talked about similar features of Istvan Szechenyi and Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev.
