Orkhan Zamanov, a teacher of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University conducted research in Austria and Georgia within the framework of the project "Sharing knowledge and academic cultures in Humanitarian Sciences: Europe and the Black Sea region, from the late 18th to the 21st century" funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 Program, the Maria Skladowska-Curie Program.
The first stage of the project started on January 14, 2017, at Batumi State University named after Shota Rustaveli, Georgia - the first technical and theoretical seminar related to the project was held. The seminar was led by Prof. Karl Kayzer and his colleague, Dominik Gutmeyer (PhD).
Orkhan Zamanov, the employee of Khazar University and Institute of Archeology and Ethnography made his first academic trip to Graz University of Austria named after Karl and Franz within the framework of the project.
Orkhan Zamanov took part in scientific exchange meetings with his colleagues in the countries where he was sent, conducted research in regard to the research topics, got acquainted with the archaeological monuments, carried on his research in the libraries, research centres and scientific archives.
