On August 25, 2017, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University, chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, sent congratulation letters to Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of AFFA, Elkhan Mammadov, the General Secretary of AFFA, Tahir Gozal, the president of ‘Garabagh’ Football Club, on the occasion of ‘Garabagh’ football club to have qualified for UEFA Champions League group stage.

In his letters, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli congratulated ‘Garabagh’ football club as the first Azerbaijani team qualifying for UEFA Champions League group stage, wished them new achievements and invited the team to Khazar University at a suitable time.
