On June 6th, 2017, Senior Instructor of the Department of English Language and Literature, Firangiz Nasirova’s anniversary was held at Khazar University, who has been working at the university since the first establishment years of the university. The university administration, deans and  heads of departments as well as collaborators took part in this event.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees made a speech about F. Nasirova’s invaluable contributions to preparation of high-qualified English Language Specialists, her laborious work in the training of young instructors and her care along with strictness towards the students. He congratulated her on the occasion of the anniversary, wished her the best in both pedagogical and personal life and presented a bouquet of flowers.

Other guests also praised F. Nasirova’s work within the university, including her activities related to translation, spoke about how she gained respect of university staff for being a caring and sincere person, as well as her cheerful temper and hilarious sense of humor that create a pleasant ambiance at “Khazar”.

It was mentioned that her anniversary had also been celebrated at the Department of English Language and Literature and at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences before that event.

Nailakhanim Isayeva, the advisor to the Board of Directors and Trustees and co-founder of “Dunya” School presented the university gift to the heroine. Lasting with sincere conversation, the event ended in a pleasant mood.
