Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is the unique journal in the field of Humanities and Social sciences which is included in the scientific platform known as Thomson Reuters' Web of Science. The Journal prefers publishing substantive research papers, as well as a publication of original and topical articles. At the same time, conferences, symposium materials and book statements are also included in the journal. The main purpose is to deliver innovations in science to the international community and to establish scientific communication between local and foreign scientists.

Well-known scientists of relevant areas from all over the world are included in the editorial board of the journal. Presented articles are firstly sent to the supervision of editorial board and then, they are sent at least to two reviewers. All the submitted papers to the journal's editorial board are evaluated by ‘anonymous reviewer groups’ consisting of external experts. Both paper and electronic versions of the publication are available in the journal.  

It is relevant to state that since 2017, Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences has been published in both electronic and paper versions. It should be noted that a number of changes have been made in the cover and the style of the journal.

It is also possible to subscribe separately to electronic and paper versions, as well as to subscribe both versions unlimitedly.
